Dating and living with a memory impairment

Living with a memory impairment can be very challenging for both of us to deal with. Sometimes I can't remember that we've gone somewhere or done something, so for me, it will be like the first time. I try not to think about the fact that he holds many more memories of us than I do. It is so sad for me to think about. Besides it serves no purpose.
