Finding the humor while living with a memory impairment

Recently when my boyfriend and I spent some time together, I was saying "hi" to him a lot. He asked me where I had been and I said "right here with you." He asked me, "do you know why you keep saying hi to me?" I said, "I don't have a clue." He said that I was cute! I'm so glad that he didn't get aggravated by this behavior. Then we both smiled and laughed about it! It is so good to see the humor in having a memory impairment. It is so much better than getting stressed out!
