How do I deal with my significant other complaining because I am repeating things?

You need to try to educate them about your diagnosis. They need to know how they can help you and what they need to stop doing or saying because it is hurtful to you. Your significant other needs to understand that you CAN NOT change the way your brain is functioning. They need to change how they are reacting to you when you are repeating something. It is helpful if they can get to a place where they pretend that it is the first time, they are hearing you repeat something. They need to put themself in your shoes and imagine how much these symptoms bother you.
