I forget so much about my jobs when I am on vacation for a week

I know that this week is going to be challenging for me because last week I was on vacation from both of my jobs. Although some students and staff I have been working with for many months, I will forget some of their names. It will usually take a few weeks for things to come back to me at my school job.

At my retail job it is also going to be an adjustment for me because I know that I will probably struggle to remember a lot of the produce codes which should be in my long-term memory since I’ve been working there for almost six years. I will also probably forget the code to use to order money. It usually will take a few shifts or up to a week, for it to all come back to me.

I know that this happened last May and I just need to hang in there and stay strong when I can't remember something. I just need to remember to be patient with "me". I know what to expect, so I will be okay.
