Oct. 13, 2020 (Chapter 2 Acceptance and Denial & Chapter 6 Living with a Memory Impairment in my book)
Fifteen years ago, I was diagnosed with mild cognitive. I was the one who brought up my memory concerns to my primary care doctor’s office. Unless I am in the very thick fog, I am very aware of my memory problems and how it has impacted my life! I have chosen to not be in denial and instead accept this diagnosis.
