Some long-term memories being remembered again

Nov. 10, 2020 (Chapter 24 My Thoughts and Feelings in my book)

When I was growing up, my parents used to host holiday dinners in our apartment. Recently I remembered something about these holidays. I remembered that each holiday that we celebrated with our family; I would go into my bedroom. I think that I used different colors of construction paper or plain white paper and crayons. I would make cards for all the adults. This included my parents, grandparents, uncle and aunt. This is something that I had forgotten all about. I know that I really enjoyed and loved creating these for my family at every holiday that we spent together!

Perhaps this memory was triggered because I am doing a lot of crafts with my three-year-old twin granddaughters. It feels good to remember these things that I have forgotten.
