Sometimes finding the right word/s takes time

Recently, when I was mailing a few cards to some friends, I was reminded that this usually takes me longer than it once did. I usually like to write something personal inside but with mild cognitive impairment, that can take a few minutes, a few hours or a few days to find the right words. I think that before the memory impairment, I could just write something pretty quickly and then mail the card. Now it takes a little more time and patience. I’m pretty sure that this has been happening to me for at least ten or more years.
