Dec. 9, 2015 (Chapter 12 Navigating Relationships While Living with a Memory Impairment in my book)

I recently told my three children about last month when I didn't know where I was or who my boyfriend was. I just wanted them to be aware that this had happened to me. They had some questions that I quickly answered. I'm not sure if I had ever shared the “fog” with my children, but now they know about it. My children are twenty-five, twenty-nine and thirty-three and they have always known about my memory impairment because they were living with me when I was 1st diagnosed ten years ago. They just don't know my daily struggles. I don't feel that it is necessary to share my daily challenges with them.
