Thoughts on getting my book published

Jan. 1, 2021 (Chapter 22 My Writing in my book) This is also in a document Steps to Getting my book Published. I might decide to make a separate chapter for this.

Last March, when I started seriously working on my book, I thought about possible publishing dates. I thought that April or May 2021 would be significant dates for me. I am dedicating my book to my Mom because she was always the one who supported my writing. My Mom’s birthday was in April and Mother’s Day is in May. Now I’m not so sure that my book will be ready by then.

Today I’m thinking about starting the new year and what that means to me. I’m continuing to organize my book so that I can work towards getting it published. In the process what I have realized is that it isn’t important to rush the process. The date that my book gets published is not as important as getting it done right. I need to make sure that my vision is realized in this book. I want it organized in such a way that someone looking for certain information can find it easily. If I rush this process, I might be unhappy with how the book comes out. I need to get this done right!
