Trouble comprehending

August 2, 2020 (Chapter 14 Comprehension Problems in my book)

Today, as I was watching the news and I didn’t understand one of the stories. The reporter was reporting about a “tuber” drowning. I didn’t understand what a tuber was so I didn’t understand the story. As I listened to the rest of the story, I searched my brain hoping that I could figure it out. I asked myself, “was it some kind of animal?” I wasn’t sure. It wasn’t until the reporter stated that the victim’s name wasn’t going to be released at this time. Now I realized that it was a person. Why didn’t I know this?
