Trying to figure out how I can remember that I have an appointment

Nov. 11, 2016 (Chapter 26 MCI Tool Box in my book)

The other day I had a dentist appointment in the afternoon. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember what time the appointment was. I kept getting frustrated because I kept going into the kitchen and looking at the calendar. This can just drive me nuts when I can't remember something from one minute to the next or just a short time later!

A short time later, I figured out what to do. I took a piece of scrap paper, looked at the calendar and I wrote “1:50 Dentist”. I put the note on the snack tray near where I sit on my couch. Problem solved! I am so glad that I figured that one out!

Since this worked out so well and I remembered that I had an appointment, now I have a new system. In the morning I check my wipe-off calendar on my refrigerator. I take a piece of scrap paper and write down the first thing that is happening and the time. If there is more than one thing that I'm doing on that day. I write it underneath the first thing. I include where I need to go and the time. This has worked out really well!
