Jan. 15, 2020 (Chapter 13 Interaction with Spouse or Significant Other in my book)
For example: Your significant other goes to the gym to work out once in a while but you overheard them tell their friend that they go several times a week. They also said that they wanted to do crossword and word search puzzles.
I don’t think that your significant other is purposely lying about these things such as going to the gym, but even if they are, it is not something that is that important that you need to correct them.
They might want to do the puzzles that you bought for them, but they might feel that they are too difficult for them to do. You could ask them if they would like you to help them get started with one of the puzzles. They might also just be forgetting about them.
It needs to be their choice and there shouldn’t be any stress. This is just something that they can do for fun. You could leave the books near them and they can decide whether they want to do them or not. You need to have a lot of patience in order to help them.
