Why couldn’t I figure this out?

July 14, 2017 (Chapter 14 Comprehension Problems in my book)

Earlier tonight, I took my daughter and her husband to the airport because they were going on vacation. I had my son-in-law drive after I picked them up at work. I sat in the back with their dog. My daughter sat in the front and she turned around and handed me two chocolate kisses. They were wrapped in pink foil. I said thanks and she said "Did you read them?" I said, "I can't without my glasses" She said, 'It’s a girl, it’s a girl! I'm very excited! I should become a nana about a few weeks before my sixtieth birthday! I need to confirm this with my photos!
