Sept. 22, 2020 (Chapter 16 The Many Problems with Words in my book)

Today a very good friend and I met at a restaurant and enjoyed breakfast together. As we sat in her car talking, I was telling her that my daughter shops at a warehouse store. I told her that I couldn't think of the name. She named two warehouses that I was familiar with but I told her those weren't it. Within a few seconds, she told me the correct name of the store that I couldn't find in my brain. I think that even if I had tried to find this name for several minutes, I'm not sure that I could have done that. This made me think as I was driving home.

Today I saw the difference between her sixty-four-year-old non memory impaired brain and my sixty-two-year-old memory impaired brain. It was very obvious to me how different our brain’s function. I'm not sure that I had noticed that before, but for some reason today it hit me.
